EventOvasion Birthday Dream Challenge

Terms & Conditions

  1. The EventOvasion Birthday Dream Challenge is open to South African residents aged 18 years and older.
  2. Entries must be submitted through the official EventOvasion Dream Challenge page on the website.
  3. Participants may enter one of the following categories:
    • Wedding
    • Birthday
    • Corporate Event
  4. Participants may submit one entry per category.
  5. Entries must include a description of the dream event concept and may include inspiration images, mood boards, sketches or reference photographs.
  6. Entries open on the official launch date and close on the published closing date.
  7. All entries must be original and submitted by the participant.
  8. EventOvasion will review all entries and select the Top 10 finalists based on creativity, originality and suitability.
  9. The Top 10 finalists will be announced on EventOvasion's social media platforms.
  10. Public voting will take place on the finalists as communicated by EventOvasion.
  11. Public voting will determine the People's Choice Award winner only.
  12. EventOvasion will independently select the main winners and runner-up winners.
  13. Wedding Winner: 50% off the décor portion of their quotation.
  14. Birthday Winner: 50% off the décor portion of their quotation.
  15. Corporate Winner: 50% off the décor portion of their quotation.
  16. People's Choice Winner: 20% off the décor portion of their quotation.
  17. EventOvasion reserves the right to award additional runner-up prizes.
  18. Prizes apply to décor services only and exclude venues, catering, entertainment, transport and third-party supplier costs.
  19. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  20. Winning events must be redeemed within 12 months.
  21. Event dates remain subject to EventOvasion availability.
  22. EventOvasion may adapt winning concepts where necessary.
  23. Participants grant EventOvasion permission to use submitted content and event photographs for marketing purposes.
  24. Winners agree to allow EventOvasion to photograph and promote the completed event.
  25. Incomplete, fraudulent or duplicate entries may be disqualified.
  26. EventOvasion reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions if required.
  27. All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  28. By entering the competition, participants acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
